VAASOCAL is a 501 C3 organization formed in 2006 to bring together southern california alumane from Visakha Vidyalaya, Sri Lanka to foster unity, celebration and service to community.

  Our flagship fundraiser, Pahan Silu, is held every few years with the purpose of raising funds in support of our mission and goals. VAASOCAL is pleased to announce our next Pahan Silu to be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2027, at the iconic Air Force One Pavilion at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

 Join us for an evening of celebration, fellowship, and purpose as we come together to support causes that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
